Natasha Salkey has drawn from many sources during her interesting life journey. She's inspired by sources such as literature, music, scents, feminine shapes and the emotional response these stimuli provoke. Rather than relying solely on visual cues for her inspiration, Natasha likes to explore the effect on the senses these sources create and give them a visual expression through her jewellery.

Childhood stories read to Natasha while growing up in a small town on the shores of the Black Sea have given her a keen sense of fantasy and romance.

It is her aim to design jewellery that evokes a sensual reaction in the wearer, to recreate those feelings of mystery, romance and magic and reconcile them with inspiration she draws from the modern, urban world she lives in now. Natasha strongly believes that jewellery should not just be worn as an adornment, but have a special connection with the wearer either through symbolism and hidden meaning or through the feelings it gives your senses.
